Acer Empowering Technology

Acer ePower : скачать
Acer eSettings :
Acer eLock Management : скачать
Acer eData Security : скачать
Acer eRecovery : скачать
Acer GridVista :

Acer eNet Management

Acer eNet Management

Intel.

Home:

Edit:

Auto:

Settings:

Acer eData Security

Just checked their supprt website today and had found the new ePower for Windows 7 (I have the Timeline 4810T).

Can someone test that and verify that the battery power consumption is similar to the vista?

Similar Messages:

I recently bought an Acer Aspire 6935 and I’m very happy with the performance. I formatted the hard drive and installed vista x64. Now my laptop frequently overheats and then shuts down automatically. I just read that it might have someting to do with the epower management module, which I don’t have anymore (after format). I can’t find any downloads for my model;

Is there any reasons for using ePower management?

I have Vista 64bit installed on Acer6935G and I do not use the software, but maybe I am missing something without it.

I found a few posts about the same, but is not clearly stated that the software is really important.

On an Acer 5100-3583 notebook, ePower Management won’t work. No profiles available, no adjustments possible. Can’t load defaults.

Notebook runs Win XP.

Uninstalled and reinstalled ePower Management; no changes. Uninstalled and reainstalled .Net framework 2.0: no changes.

No solutions found in the forum archives or online.

The first thing I did was do a clean install of Windows 7 (it came preinstalled with Windows 7)

I’m wondering if I need to install ePower Management to achieve the advertised battery life?

I see in the 1410/1810 thread people uninstall this and it seems to help battery life. I want to see proof. Show tests, videos, photos, whatever proof you have that this software that Acer engineers designed is useless. I had an EEE before and it shipped with Asus’s own power management software and I never had a problem with it working together with whatever Linux or Windows OS I used. So, lets see what proof you have that shows the epower management software is useless.

Hey guys I have a Acer Aspire 5590. I installed empowering technology, then I installed enet, eperformance, and esettings for it, I tried installing epower management but it says I need net frame 1.1 but yet I installed 2.0 then 3.5 yesterday.. and it still doesn’t work. I formatted the laptop yesterday, but when it was not formatted it had all the acer programs on it, such as the one where it controls the battery performance, so I could change the screen brightness, how fast the laptop goes and what the settings are when it’s running on battery. What is that program called, could somebody send me a link so that I have all the acer programs that come with acer laptops? I have Windows XP

I have a 5738z and upgraded to windows 7. I had to do a clean install as I upgraded to x64 Win7 from x86 vista to use the 4gb of RAM the machine has. The upgrade went fine, no problems. All drivers installed fine and the machine runs great. My problem is that the ePower button will not work no matter what I try (it’s the P button on other models) and it wont light up green. I’ve used the Acer upgrade disk, which installed the launch manager software, but the button still wont work.

Acer Aspire VN-591G :: Windows 8.1 — Uninstalled Recovery Management Software

I have recently purchased an Acer Aspire VN-591G which came with Windows 8.1 preinstalled.

I now wish to reset it to factory settings and I can’t seem to do that as I have accidentally uninstalled the Acer Recovery Management software.

The recovery partition is intact, but I can’t seem to be able to do anything with it.

I tried booting up using Alt + F10 but it opens up the default Windows 8 boot screen, where if I choose to reset the system it asks me to insert the recovery media (which I don’t have as the system only came with the recovery partition).

I think I spent 3h searching through the internet trying to find the Acer Recovery Management software that comes with Windows 8.1 (which I’m hoping will be able to access the recovery partition and use it to restore the laptop to its original state), however, it seems that this is nowhere to be found.

I find it absurd for Acer not to provide this software as a download for their systems — how would you be able to use the recovery partition in case of a system failure ?

i tried booting up directly on the recovery partition but I didn’t manage to do that (maybe I was doing something wrong — got an error about the disk not being a fixed MBR disk ?

i just installed a new 7200 hd and a fresh install of vista 32 what programs do i need to install? i thought i need to install the epower? is this true to have fan work right on cpu? should i flash my bios from 1.34 to 1.45?

Is there any possibility to interact with ePower in Windows 7 clean installation? In original Vista that came wit notebook it had tray icon, but when I install this app in Win7 from provided archive (ePower_Acer_4.07.3008_Win7x86x64), there is no tray nor any launcheable app, even through there is epowertray.exe running in memory. An when I press ePower button (green battery with leaf), nothing actually happens, only indication is that icon is green lit and if I install launchmanager, there is visual indication on display too.

Acer Gateway NV59C :: Windows 7 — Unable To Restore Gateway Using Recovery Management Disks

Prior to attempting the Restore process, all I get when I start the Gateway NV59C laptop is the following screen:

A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source.

If you have a windows installation disc, insert the disc and restart your computer. Click “Repair your computer,” and then choose a recovery tool.

Otherwise, to start windows so you can investigate further, press the enter key to display the boot menu, press F8 for Advanced Boot Options, and select Last Known Good. If you understand why the digital signature cannot be verified and want to start windows with this file, temporarily disable the driver signature enforcement.

Info: Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file. what is causing these error messages?

new bios is up on the Acer support listed as version 1.16V?

I checked out the file but nothing listed and documentation?

Acer 6920G Bios Updated 1.16v

I’ve installed Windows 7 on 2 machines, 1 on my XPS 1340, the other on a Thinlpad X60s.

The Thinkpad is a fresh install, but somehow has a power management scheme where the battery isn’t charged automatically even when plugged in, and dims the screen when the computer is inactive

I know of course that the current Sony utilities are not really meant for Windows 7.

However, does anyone have Windows 7 RC with the VAIO Power Management utility installed?

If so, do you also see the issue where the PM plan is not called ‘VAIO Optimized’ but rather something like ‘SPMResMui.dll,-100’? If you do not see this, could you please tell me the version of VAIO Power Management you are using?

Lenovo P/Y/Z Series :: Z710 Power Management Can’t Install Windows 7 64bit

Z710 power management can’t install, win7 64 because «Windows can’t verify the publisher of this driver software»

I pushed the «Install this driver software anyway» but the hardware still wasn’t recognized after installation/reboot.

So I installed instead of that the Lenovo Energy Management Software Ver 7.0.3.4 .

This is working, but I dont know if it is a problem for my system becouse of incompatibility with the battery of Z710.

Any digitally signed driver for my Z710 or I can use the version 7.0.3.4 without problem?

1. Can anyone give me information on how to change the default drive for
user-created backups? Currently they are stored to the D: drive. My D: drive is currently full and I need to change this location?

2. Also, where can I find some useful info explaining the recovery procedure in the event of a system crash?

I have a stereo system hooked up to my computer through component style cables (Red/White) that connect through the headphone jack. If I switch eAudio Management to S/PDIF Digital Output, the sound works much better. But if I try and do something else, like switch to youtube, the audio wont play at all. If I go back to iTunes again, it also wont play. I have to close iTunes, switch eAudio to «Built-In Speakers», re-open iTunes, then switch back to S/PDIF. Its a pain to have to open and close iTunes all the time. The audio quality is much better with S/PDIF and dont want to have to sacrifice by leaving it on Built-In Speakers. My actual stereo plays when Built-In Speakers is selected (not the laptop speakers), the quality is just inferior. Are there any reasons for this? Is there any solution to fixing it so that the S/PDIF is always working?

I tried to create a document on the MS Word 2007 that came with my Acer TravelMate 5720 — XP, Office 2007. The completed docu was saved to My Documents. When I went to My Documents to open the file, the icon contained a red bar, was labeled as encrypted, and would not open. I tried saving another — same result. The Notepad documents I save are fine but the Excel files are encrypted too. When I try to open the encrypted Word.docx file, an Acer window pops up titled Acer eData Security Management and says «System setup must be completed before you can use Acer eData Security Management. Please click «Next» to start the setup.» Apparently I have turned on the Acer eData Security Management system somehow. I am not interested in using the Acer eData Security Management. It would be easy to remove the program but then it would not be available should I ever decide differently. Any ideas any one would care to offer about how I may have accomplished turning on the Acer eData Security Management system, and most importantly, how do I turn it back off,

When I unplug my laptop from the AC adapter, Acer’s ePower system automatically dims the LCD brightness to a setting that is 2 levels above the lowest (and 7 below the highest). However, when resuming the laptop from standby, I noticed that the setting is increased to 4 levels above the lowest (and 5 below the highest). I’m kind of a stickler for these sorts of things and would prefer for Windows not to change the LCD brightness if the ePower manager is supposed to be handling it. Is anyone else noticing this, and if so, have you corrected it somehow?

FYI, I should mention that I recently downloaded an updated version of Acer’s ePower management system from Acer’s support website — this updated version corrected an error that was occurring where my optical drive wouldn’t «wake up» after ePower management shut it down, so I would prefer not to downgrade.

I’m frankly a little confused about where exactly all the Acer-specific power options are located. What is the difference between ePower and PowerSmart? Or are they the same thing? I could go on, but I think I’ve raised enough questions.

I have an Aspire 5720. The default mode for the eAuido Management is Movie (which means surround on). When I turn the computer on, I change that value to Music (surround off). However, there is no way to save my preferred mode (Music), and everytime, I have to bother with changing it from Movie to Music.

Is there a way to make «Music» the default mode of the eAudio Management?

we switch from Comcast to Verizon Fios and now our laptops don’t want to stay connected.

It takes like 2 hours for it to finally stay connected so we called Verizon and they said we have to change from the eNet management to windows.

Does anyone know how to change it?

i have an internet connection, but the enet manager wont connect..

I just got a Acer One 751. It has an Atom Z520 1.33GHz CPU running at 1.24GHz.

When I’m running on battery it’s not downclocking, it keeps running at 1.24Ghz. How can I downclock it?

My Samsung NC10 allows me to clock the 1.6Ghz Atom to 800MHz.

Acer Aspire E1-522 :: Recovery Management Not Working

I have an Acer Aspire E1-522. I am trying to find out why when I click on Acer Recovery Management it does nothing. Just in case I ever need it I would like to be able to use it. In Programs and Features (Windows 8) the version number is 6.00.810 .
